Western Libraries has made some changes to our website as a result of user feedback gathered during the Libqual+ Survey conducted in Spring 2010. What's different?
- Search types organized into tabs: Books, Articles, Reference, Course Reserves
- See all search options available for the Library Catalogue up-front, i.e. Title, Author, Keyword, etc.
- Quick links provided for frequently used searches such as E-Journals and E-Books (Books tab)
- Database lists organized by both Subject and Title (Articles tab)
- Quick link to Program Guides, which display our most recommended sources organized by Program (Articles tab)
- Ability to conduct a meta-search of our Reference holdings (Reference tab)
- Quick links provided for frequently used Reference sources OED and Encyclopedia Britannica (Reference tab)
- Search Course Reserves directly from main page (Course Reserves tab)
These changes come into effect January 3rd.
